Yes! Rutledge and Wilson are two of my all time favorites!
If Wilson came back, we would have a stable at RB.
Joey Bearns is returning! Not sure if he’s classified in the TE room or lone fullback room lol.
Guys are realizing that they do not have as many options
you are going to see a bunch running back to all programs in the next day as the portal closes. Got to grab a seat before the music stops
That and I think there options might be FCS so they are like why not just return to my team. Albin is also a factor too.
not sure if they know albin well enough yet, maybe. But I have to think their parents are in their ear saying “boy you better get back to that school and get that free education and stop this nonsense” I know mine would
Were any of those players starters or contributed last year? Aka do we care they came back?
Yes, just about all of them were starters or played significant minutes and showed potential. These are huge and a few more wouldn’t hurt.
Also, the more continuity the vetter, especially in today’s portal era
Since Coach allowed them to return, he sees value in doing so. Good enough for me.
One odd thing is that Albin apparently didn’t retain even one of the former assistant coaches. You normally see at least one assistant retained for purposed of continuity, As a result, I’m not sure what, if any, information has about the skill level of any player from last year that isn’t on film. Maybe he has an old depth chart?
Oh well. That means that all the players will start from scratch this Spring. No one will have any position on the depth chart locked up, because everyone will have the chance to make a brand new impression.
My prediction, Jonny King and Mo Clipper start next season.
Ill say youre half right
Not sure what the norm is but with 3 changes at CLT no one has been retained from the previous coaching staff…
King started this year
