CJ Stokes gone for the season. At least we are deep at RB.

I like the progression I am seeing. We need our QB back. This team can play anybody in the AAC but there will not be any cupcake wins.

My biggest concern isn’t talent. It’s coaching and decision making. I agree we can compete in this conference if we don’t get in our own way.

We have games we can win, starting with Rice.

Actually could see us going 4-4 in AAC play, but not getting my hopes up too high. Just don’t see 0-8. If that happens, then there definitely has to be a coaching change.

Rice and ECU are winnable. I don’t see many wins after that but we’ll see. Hopefully we are 3-3 in two weeks and not 1-5. I also doubt we see Max again this year.

FAU and UAB are winnable as well. Boca Owls are getting boat raced by hapless UConn tonight.

After 4 games I’m still not sure what we even have, if Ivey started the JMU game I’d be curious to see if we did better, we still gave up 30 points… but hey we didn’t give up 60! It’s going to be a roller coaster conference season that’s for sure.

Thinking of heading to the game. That stadium is huge and always feels empty, even if they get attendance comparable to us. It should be a little cooler.
