Thinking ahead and too far ahead but I hope we aren’t going to force Purdie in to keep him happy to stay around the program? I’m assuming Max Brown will get a medical waiver for this season. Does Ivey have another season after this year? Maybe he finally leaves and goes to an FCS to be the guy from day 1

If Purdie healthy I bet he starts. Biff has said in the past you don’t lose your starting job to injury.

I also get the impression he really wants to keep Purdie happy.

Random thought, does anyone know if anyone in our athletic department thought ahead and got our football team on a plane to Houston earlier than later? I know they should be able to fly later tomorrow afternoon and evening but I would hate to have them arrive later than a normally scheduled away game and throw off the process. I’m assuming tons of delays!

Well, Bobby Rosinski is doing his “Afternoon Rush” gig as I type this and Coach is scheduled for his weekly check-in at 5:30, so the answer is that no one has left the QC at this point - except maybe the equipment rig driver(s).
