Not to mention how this game will play in living rooms all off-season.
We had a ton of recruits at this game. Talked to a couple of them. They loved everything about yesterday.

We only played this game at 3:30 for TV. Shame because that would have been an amazing environment for a night game.

Agreed! I will add winning games like yesterday is how we grow the fan base. It will also bring fans that were excited about football when it first came and the lost interest after losing seasons.

Some of the ECU fans in our area could only trash the size of our stadium; calling it a highschool stadium as they walked out in the 4th quarter. That comment only trashes their program that they were man handled by a team that plays in a Highschool stadium. I would bet they donāt get 17K at their next home game.
That was an ABSOLUTE complete game last night on both sides of the ball and special teams.
That was a DAMN DAMN DAMM fun game to be at. I want more of that please.

Aside from the game we collected two truck loads of supplies to be taken to UNCA and App this week. Football was amazing but Iām glad we were able to throw a great tailgate and do some good for folks in need.

We had a group of Eastern bros stop behind us before kickoff to talk smack. Those losers left in the 3rd quarter. Funny, they didnāt stop by to see us on the way out.

Awesome game, the type of performance Biff has been promising. Just incredibleā¦ECU fans were fine in my section, but most left in the 3rd quarter. They weāre always going to complain about stadium size, win or lose, cause thatās all they can hang their hats onā¦
Otherwise, if this type of effort is replicated, Iāll be proud of this teamā¦both sides of the ball. I do know that Navy will be really toughā¦Iām going to enjoy this one!!! I thought we could win, but I didnāt expect to gob-smack ECU like thatā¦truly special.

I guess our stadium expansion would be done already if we had a med school to steal from and an athletic director with experience in defrauding the public.

The next 3 games, Navy, Memphis, Tulaneā¦steal one of those, odds of a bowl game increase dramatically I thinkā¦final three games are USF, FAU, UABā¦while all games all winnable, I gotta think if this team keeps up with this effort, that what Biff keeps telling us this team is, then I might have to find my green-tinted glasses againā¦

LOL. That thing was more chain than necklace. Huge and not daintly.
A lot of their fan base clearly doesnāt respect us. I heard the typical comments about stadium being āhigh school.ā One guy called us āNASCAR Universityā while another guy yelled āWe are losing to freaking Charlotteā¦come on.ā Both made me laugh more than anything. With that said, I had some positive interactions before the game with ECU fans and one older ECU alum at Picassoās postgame was very friendly. I also have some friends that hosted us at ECU last year for a tailgate and I was glad to be able to return the favor.
Memphis and Navy are likely losses but you never know. We just need to take care of business at home and if we can steal a road win somewhere all the better. We had to get to .500 going into the bye and we did!

Did not see necklace but could be the one they sell in the bookstore. A Mr. T , A Team deluxe. Thought about getting it last Saturday but old and uncool now and trying to accept that.

For the record we finally ran the fake dive right into the line at the 3 yard line on the 4th down call and Purdie " naked" bootlegged for the easy score like I have been screaming for the last year and a half. I feel like my work here is done and I can move on with my life.
