We have definitely had those emotions. I hope they continue. Apathy is the enemy. Every sports team in the world has stuff like this.
I listen to a weekly segment on my soccer teamās podcast called āpropagandaā and all they do is pull the ridiculous fan emotions from other teams. Itās hilarious. Itās ok to have fun.

I would also like them to both to be in our conference.
Iām not as keen to be in a conference with Appy, but I get the sentiment. Iād much prefer being in a conference with comparable institutionsā¦Iād personally prefer to play Appy out of conference every yearā¦but thatās just me.

Saturday was almost too perfect! Great tailgate with friends and family, great weather, a little smack talk from the LPPs, and then an unbelievable ass whooping served up by the Niners. I have not had that much fun at a football game since 8/31/13.
It is best for all of us if App, ECU, and Charlotte are all good in football.
It makes the game an event that is followed statewide.

Just beat them. That speaks volumes.
I know its good for ECU and App to be better from a statewide attention POV and now that you buy players one team doing good isnt the recruiting advantage it once was - but I still hate them. I love to see them both lose.
Taking shots at other schools is literally the baseline of a college rivalry. Do it with some class, but take shots all day long.
App is a one trick pony and their academics are behind and they offer virtually no advanced degrees and their student based is scared of diversity.
ECU is in a shithole of a town, had to defraud their medical program to stay solvent and their fanbase has a elevated sense of their worth.
That is a beautiful sentiment.

We ca talk down on them when we start to ascend but id ratger them(app and ecu) stink. Easier when, plus we can steal their top recruits

My point isnāt donāt talk. My point is exactly what do we have to puff our chests out about? Do something notable then you can talk all you like.
Right now our biggest accomplishment in the last ten plus years in the big two is a shitty post season buy in title in hoops and beating ECU in football.

We have to pull for ECU the rest of the year. If they win, it makes our victory look better.
I guess itās how you look at it. I am not against being supportive of other schools in the state. However, this isnāt like getting an at-large tournament bid where we need quality wins thus you want the teams you beat to keep winning.
We just need 6 wins, no matter who theyāre against, and weāre going to a bowl game. If we can get more then 6 then hopefully a decent bowl game.
