I do like the full stadium atmosphere compared to the Rice game last week. But we need to grow our fan base.
We are the Big Deal in our city of Charlotte. Rice is secondary at best in Houston.
We need to seize our opportunities and prevent other schools from encroaching on what should be ours. Our city and local population is our greatest resource but we have to āmineā it.
It takes effort and hard work but it is worth it. If we donāt want it others do. I think we have everything in place to seize the moment if we want it.
They understood the demand, itās does not bring enough profit to bring them in for one game and our games were spaced too far apart to rent them for multiple. Itās okay, selling lots of SRO looks really good to leadership not involved in athletics. Itās alot easier to sell them expansion when we are sold out.
The AD has access to information that we do not. They have their strategy. They know the politics and challenges they face - we do not have all this information. Often, we speculate.
The point; we need to be as positive and supportive as possible while demanding we achieve our potential.
