Looks like yet another L coming up. Down 6-2 in the 8th. We once again make a mediocre team look like a dominant one…22-29 record. Good grief.

I hope DeFranco and Taylor are ok after that nasty collision. It doesn’t seem like much is going our way lately.
We came out of the gate pretty strong but couldn’t get much going offensively again.
Taylor and DeFranco are both in the lineup today. Good to see.

For the 5th straight game we give up a lead and lose. This time via a 3 run HR… swept by a very mediocre team, that was also below .500 until we came to town. SMH… I’ll be glad when this season is over, as this team is INCREDIBLY annoying to watch. When they implode, they really implode. Lost 7-2 now after giving up 6 runs in the 7th. Embarrassing team…Wilson and Rossi have now gone the way of the rest of the team, it seems. Meanwhile, we have made WS’ staff all look like Nolan Ryan. HTH did we only manage 5 runs in 3 games against that team?

We really pitched well enough to win the series. There were 3 innings all weekend that cost us. Thats all it takes unfortunately.
We are playing the best defensive lineup we can and I don’t think our defense cost us much. There was the ball that dropped in yesterday during their big inning that could be considered a bad play. No ‘errors’ on the weekend though.
Offensively, we just didn’t have much all weekend.
The sweep really hurts us in the standings. We can now finish as high as 3rd or as low as 10th.
