Niners first contacted a couple of years ago but never offered. Nice get for the Pirates. Rated #124 HS player by Rivals.
As of May 16th, all of the high school players we offered in the class of 2024 have committed to other programs.

There have been a number of interests, contacts, etc as noted throughout this thread, though none known currently with high school hoopsters. Many more than actual offers, which were fewer this class among HS targets. My recollection is that a majority of those we showed interest in but didn’t offer have already committed etc.
Contact with transfers much more prevalent during this cycle, though less transparent. Still have a scholarship open, so expect that to be filled as half of those in the portal are still available.

Just reviewing our high school recruiting for the 2023 class and we offered 16 players - 17 if you count Aussie G Tyrese Proctor, who ended up reclassifying to 2022 and signing with Duke. Anyway, we did land F Nick Richart, who red-shirted last season and elected to remain with the team for 2024-25.

Really wish we had some inside info on what our plan is for the last scholarship. At least what position we might be looking to add.

Have no idea if Aussie hoopster Jayden Stone is on our radar - though lower post shows recently brought to the attention of Coach Sfera. I too am surprised he’s still available.
That’s a little odd he is still unsigned.
That would be a nice finishing touch to the recruiting class. Probably not going to happen, but I can dream. Fearne & Sfera follow him on Twitter so they already know of him. Not that it matters but maybe they can work a miracle. We need a scorer like that.
