Pretty weak second half. I can see the pieces for a decent team though
The Villar kid from Spain did not score. I’m not sure he even shot. He seems like a player with a very high basketball IQ and will always make “the right basketball play”. Will be interesting to see how he progresses.

100% agree. Found it interesting he was trying to direct and communicate so much.
The good:
Much more talented and athletic than last year. Good defense. Mingo looked really good. Bradford much improved
The bad:
Some bad to’s as you’d expect game 1. Bigs need to finish better

The bigs are going to be a problem I think. Could not finish well inside on a D3 school.
They are going to need to focus on defense and rebounding not scoring.
Elliott looked quite athletic and good on D. I will say he popped a bit.
in fact I’m shocked to just look at the roster and see he’s 6’10”. He looked like an athletic 6’7 or 6’8 to me. Eyenga looked to have some physicality but is raw.

He looked athletic. There looks to be some talent. The question is can they be turned into a team?
Butler was in sweats as well as Gomez with a boot.
