Oh well. At least they made bank.
Davidson is a bad basketball team.
We made them look good.
Same shit, different year, except now we are directly paying these guys to suck this bad.
I like Fearne but he got outcoached by McKillop’s brat, who I don’t think is anything special as a coach.
Just utter failure the whole way around.
Davidson will probably be .500 at best this year in a very mid league.
Men’s soccer, most of the time. But even they tend to choke on the road.
That’s all I’ve got. Baseball has been disappointing lately too.
Liked the comeback and more energy in the second half, but bad loss
Hope we can develop some of these players outside of Bonke, we did play hard. Davidson defense was excellent and they seemed much deeper than we are on our own floor.
Still not sure how much AAC talent we have brought in outside of Bonke. But we should be marginally better in the AAC than last year, that is my prediction.
Exactly right NA
He inexplicably took out Bonke and Bradford 5 minutes into the game and left them both out for 6-7 minutes, until Davidson got a nice lead…..not sure WTH he was thinking.
When you never adjust to the aggressive defensive style the other team is playing, you have been outcoached.
I’ve defended Fearne. Not tonight.
I thought the same thing on the coaching. I expected to see some adjustments for the second half - but nope, same shit. Davidson did play great perimeter defense. Coach couldn’t figure out how to get Bonke worked into the offense.
We missed a lot of good looks from the 3 and a couple of layups to go along with that.

You can’t pay international players and almost all of the players are international
Hard to say he was out-coached considering we could have won this game if both teams made all of their free throws. This was the coldest shooting I’ve ever seen from a basketball team
We played faster against isu and had success. Why slow it down?
1 of 10 on 3’s early, good looks too, and poor shooting from FT line doomed us.
I think we are still finding out who can play in the bright lights and who needs work.
Once we get the 6’11 guy worked in to spell 7’2 center we will not have drop offs on D.
Hate losing to Davidson but this team fought back from down 18 with a chance to win. Not sure last years would have done that.
Last year’s team did in fact do just that.
After trailing by 14 points late, Charlotte Men’s Basketball (4-4) staged a furious comeback to make it a two-point game with 55 seconds left before Davidson pulled out the 75-71 win over the visiting 49ers on Tuesday (Dec. 10) evening.
That makes it better.
I stand corrected. Hope this teams rest of the schedule fares better!
Oh I’m sure international players are getting paid. They are just gonna run the cash thru an intermediary.
