2025-26 Niners Basketball 🏀

We showed interest in Collins but not aware we ever offered. Expect him to have quite a number of his Clover, SC family in the stands when the Aggies visit Halton

Why on earth are we playing Rice in Houston TWICE? 1/11 and 1/31.

1/11 in Houston; 1/31 in Halton.

For a second I thought you were writing your prediction of our record for the season. I mean you might be right even though you werent

To the point earlier our roster looks like it was really just thrown together and the returnees have to still prove they can play at the AAC level. But lets see!

Not exactly sure i see the Gonzaga analogy in terms of anything we have brought in. But again we could always be pleasantly surprised and very lucky.

Ignore the graphic and go look up the schedule that was posted today. It has us playing in Houston twice

I’m excited for the Spaniards because they just came off a U-18 FIBA championship

Blackmon should be a key contributor. Just hope he can stay healthy the entire year.

I like Bradford but afraid he could get “lost” in the glut of guards that should see Blackmon, Freeman, Harrison, and Mingo getting the bulk of minutes. Torvik does list Bradford as a “top 10 projected contributor” but not a key one. Should get PT but probably nothing significant barring injuries etc.

Richart’s role will definitely be dependant upon staying healthy. Don’t see him starting but could be serviceable backup to Mading when the latter needs a breather.

Here’s the composite league sked. 1/11 Charlotte @ Rice; 1/31 Rice @ Charlotte.

I’m just hoping for something from these guys. So far every other sport has performed meh this year

I never had the patience to track the composite schedule. I just went to the CLT website - Men’s Basketball schedule. See for yourself.

Two things: what’s up with all these games on Sunday?!?!?! Ridiculous. And the UIC game at home on a Sunday that the Panthers play at home during much of the same time. :face_vomiting::face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

What’s wrong with a Sunday game? That seems like a good time for a game

Between football and people going to church, attendance will definitely be worse, though I’m not sure it’ll really make much difference to the atmosphere these days.

Folks in Irving set the league schedule. Per the composite sked, Sunday is the primary day for weekend conference games this season - 42 match-ups vs 18 on Saturday.

Going head to head with Panthers vs Tampa Bay on 12/21 is a head scratcher.
