Yep, NC A&T, Lafayette, and UIC should be wins. CofC has been uneven and just lost a starter to a season ending injury, so that’s a toss up even though it’s in Charleston.
Afraid Utah State will run us out of the building but still have to play the game so we’ll see. They play USF in Tampa prior to coming to Halton so that should give us an idea of what to expect, though they have already beaten Tulane by 21 and Davidson by 34 on the same neutral court (CofC) that we’ll be the visiting team on 12/14.
Conference play is where we should pick up the bulk of our wins this season. League is a mess and completely wide open though Tulsa (6-1 w/ 1 pt L to K-State) seems to be the early front-runner based on OOC play.
Georgia beats Tennessee Tech by 42 points. We narrowly squeaked out a five point win at Halton against Tenn Tech after blowing a late lead. That says a lot.
Undefeated Utah State needed OT today at home to beat a 4-loss Montana State team in the Aggies first game since beating Davidson by 34 and Tulane by 21 in the Charleston Classic. Calhoun probably has his team’s full attention now so he can try to deflate some of their bigheadedness after almost losing to a 19.5 pt underdog.
