Offensive playcalling could not have been worse. I have never in my life seen such ineptitude.
1 and 10? Run the ball
2nd and 15? Screen pass
3rd and 15? Run the ball.
Every pass was a curl route. The only successful passes were slants. Nothing at all down the field. Horrendous all the way around. I find solace and comfort in the fact that no matter who is in charge, I know exactly how my school will play

with the new coaches and player changes I actually thought this would have been a more competitive game. this team has some work to do. again though albin is here to establish an identity so thats going to take some time

I am sorry this guy mean Joe green has never ever made a single positive comment on this board. Why is he ilhere? Just to complain. He is totally silent until something negative happens then he disappears until something negative happens again. If something positive happens, he never comments. He should be banned from this board. I would think that he is an ECU or App Store fan rubbing our noses in our misery but I know he is just someone that loves misery and finding fault with anyone and everyone around him. I hope everyone in this board loves his misery.

There is nothing positive about tonight aside from the tailgate. If Harrell remains QB Iâd put our over under at two wins. The problems go deeper than him but there is no hope if he remains the starter. This loss is as bad as it gets. There is nothing positive I can take from this game. Itâs going to be a long year.
Iâll give you a quick outside opinionâthe issue is lack of continuity. The fan base and administration need to be patient. You hired a coach whoâs had success and been around success, so now itâs time to trust the process. And by the way, that process is going to take longer than most people expect. Donât look for a Year 2 jump like he had at Ohio. Remember, Frank Solich was winning 8â9 games a year at Ohio for a decade before Tim Albin took over. This is going to be a much longer rebuild.
I was at an event last week with P.J. Fleck at Minnesota, and as crazy as it sounds, he said the culture of his program started with the summer youth camps. Someone will always be offering more moneyâlegally or illegallyâbut he said theyâre now winning the recruiting battles in and around the state because of the impact those camps had.
Sure, you might catch lightning in a bottle with a strong portal class, but that doesnât set a program up for long-term success.
