They just got swept at home by Yale. On the weekend they were honoring Wayne Graham. I thought this might happen but not before conference play had started. 
Looks like we are developing some bad habits/trends of blowing multi-run leads…after leading 4-0, we are now down 8-4 and counting, less than 2 innings later.

Wheels, axles, transmission fell out…uhgg…these collapses are NOT a good trend…we have used 6 pitchers through 7 innings, including 3 in the 7th inning, 2 of which recorded zero outs.

Defense let us down today. 2 plays allowed their big inning to happen. The first was a tough play but probably should have been an out with a pop up between LF/ SS. That led off their big inning. Another when our RF lost the ball in the air (or never saw it) allowed multiple runs and the inning to continue. Neither were scored errors, but they were plays that we should make.
Bad things happen when you give the other guys 5 + outs in an inning. If we make those plays, Blake likely pitches through the inning and continues. Different game.
Staff has shown little patience tonight with walks. If you come in and can’t throw strikes, you’ll be out soon.

Miscues in the field yesterday, but I have been thinking our defense has been very good this year, a characteristic of our best teams through the years. As I recall, last year wasn’t so good. Hopefully we can take the last two games!

Yep. Defense has been great all season. Hopefully that inning is just a blip on the radar.
We knocked the ball around against their starter yesterday, so I’m confident our bats will be ok today. Kribbs has made several good starts in a row, so let’s keep it going.

So what was the final score? ESPN always seems to NEVER have our baseball score listed in their NCAA baseball scores. Why is that?!?!?!?
