I think we surprise someone along the way. College football is weird, occasionally you have a supercharged week and the other team doesn’t show up to play. We blew out ECU last year, doesn’t mean we were necessarily the better team.

Now looking forward on the schedule, this truly is a 3-4 win season if being optimistic. Now we kind of know where everyone is.
I think we can beat ECU, Army, Temple, and UTSA. Those are the only winnable games left on the schedule. But hey, maybe we shock Tulane or UNT

We have a stronger chance against UTSA. The other teams, I’m leaning more towards a loss. Temple is really interesting to me. They have a first year head coach but they certainly aren’t playing like it.
We are the only team playing like we have a first year head coach while everyone else with a first year head coach is winning.
Go post the last box score from when we played EZU. I think you will find a Niner domination.

In his defense that was last year under a different coach. We beat them so bad that EZU fired him a week later. This coach they have now has them playing good ball. They lost a lot on defense last year and this was suppose to be a down year for them.
Until they beat us, we own them.

I really hope I am wrong, But I think ECU is going to have some payback waiting and beat us by 3+ touchdowns. We are just too thin on both Lines.

Until we beat you guys you own us lol. I refuse to look at the Charlotte game as a win until I actually see it on the scoreboard when the clock hits zeros. Last year we came in as a two touchdown favorite and had looked like the better team up until kickoff and you guys beat the living hell out of us. While our offense hasn’t quite played up to internal expectations the defense has far surpassed what anyone expected. We are 26th in total offense and 32nd in total defense thus far and 55th in the ESPN power index.
