How much heat would Hill get if he hired a husband / wife team as co-headcoaches. What a crock. Canโt find salary specifics but I hope they split the budgeted HC salary.

Interesting move today putting Olivia Williams behind the plate. I had no idea she was a catcher.
Looks like Coach believes in players learning new positions. Oliva mustโve had some experience in high school catching. Today took me by surprise, though. The part of the game I was able to watch, she did a credible job behind the plate
Savannah at first base is new from last year as well, of course.
This tournament isnโt doing much for our record, but is good for our SOS (3)
I noticed that our next road opponent, Clemson, is also 0-4 in Clearwater.
Ladies lose to #5 Texas A&M 4-2 but playing much better ball. Still need to clean up a few fundamentals but overall looking good

This team is really starting to intrigue me. Very easy to pull for and see the improvement. I am sure there is still some roller coaster left to the season and growing pains. Love seeing a team come together.

I havenโt checked all the box scores to see how many teams had errors, but even the announcers talked about the condition of the infields.

Most of our late errors were of the throwing variety.

I agree, the field looked in poor shape on TV. They could have drug it between innings to smooth it out. I donโt know why they ground crew didnโt. But the other teams are playing on the same field as us and we seem to be making more errors than the rest. Just need to clean this up quickly. Itโs the difference between winning and losing games as we saw against SDSU.

A month ago, I had us down for 0-5 in Clearwater. The only difference was that I had us getting run-ruled 4 of the 5. Iโm willing to consider this rebuild ahead of schedule. Iโm really impressed with what this rookie staff is getting out of the roster. The defense will improve along with the roster.
