Coach Miller had recruited Crawford while at Cincy. In fact, made very first D1 offer for the Florida hoopster. Not aware he followed up after landing in the real QC.

Just to be clear, James had no current affiliation with the Cincinnati program and hasn’t since he entered the transfer portal last April.
Anyway, not surprised he received a cease and desist request from UC following all of his recent Instagram posts in which he inferred that he was the team’s PG, etc.
Can’t help but be reminded of Dalonte West though I’m in no way saying James is dealing with the same thing. That said, James did apparently spend time in a treatment program while away from the Bearcats last summer + fall and would think Miller had received assurances of enough progress before he reinstated James in December.
Has to be real disheartening for Coach, especially since he’s had a relationship with James for going on 4 years now. Still, had no choice but to sever ties - yet again - and move on.
