Nedry continues his stellar play with a 1st inning error that quickly costs us 1 extra run…..not that it will matter. Down 6-0 in the 1st, still with just 1 out. This team has become a JOKE!!!…..embarrassingly bad…..am I the first to say it? Woodard might need to go.

8th inning was a perfect microcosm of this team. Down 7-3, bases loaded, no outs…..what do we do??? 3 consecutive strikeouts…..I’ve seen this movie multiple times in the last week.
Absolutely maddening. I pray we break out of this soon.
That $hit is hard to do….none of them could even get a ball in play…..one of those first 2 HAS to atleast get one in play to bring home one.

Starting pitching and situational hitting doomed us. So a usual game for us

Another game where our starter doesn’t make it out of the 1st inning. Hard to win when you spot them 6 runs before you get to hit.
The good news is we only allowed 1 the other 8 innings.
Yeah, we won the rest of the game 3-1, but our first inning nonsense continues. Its a reoccuring theme.
Are college pitching staffs deep enough to take on an 8+ inning burden like that, or does that type of SP outing also cripple the relief staff for the next few games?
Depends on how the BP is utilized. We only had one guy throw more than 26 pitches (including starter). And Winter was efficient going 5 innings with only 57 pitches. So should not have any bearing on this weekend’s availability.

Attendance was embarrassing. At least the beer lines were non existent and I caught up with an old college friend….
Anyone know our record for most losses in a row? We have to be getting close.
