I’m in Europe vacationing right now and didn’t get to watch the game. Sad to see the score post on my phone this morning. Not sure why we continue to struggle this much. I’ll continue to support the program but losing games like this is totally demoralizing.

No chance a 1 win or winless Albin is brought back.
Hopefully albin retires and takes some sort of reduced buyout

Albin made it a point to say the staff didn’t have the resources last year, à la, money for players. This year investment was made, not crazy amounts, but enough to warrant beating an fcs team in the home opener. To not do that, should be a fireable offense. Don’t care who, or why, but someone fired.
Otherwise, we sleepwalk through a season with a staff that has no desire to overachieve or make necessary adjustments. It will be the same process only we need to “do better” as we continue to lose. Which is why we continue to lose in this way.
Albin really boxed himself in with this loss and his reaction of gee whiz, tough loss, got to get our guys ready better is the most flaccid response you could have to anyone who donated to this dumpster program.
Not a good showing in front of all the recruits either !!
Sorry guys, haven’t been around because I just couldn’t take any more suck. I can’t invest any more emotion into this. We are so cursed as a program, there has to be something very wrong in our AD that we can’t ever enjoy any relevance. Going to follow soccer, will probably be disappointed. Painful.

Because we will be the largest university in the state, probably by next year. Despite our losses the 49er student body continues to pack their side of the stadium. I dare say that no other student body would turn out like ours and support their university when not winning. This is what college football is about!!

No we won’t. Ncsu is quite a bit larger than us. They have 40,500 students.
we will likely surpass unc to become #2 next year.
the guy isn’t wrong though. It’s a huge sink hole of money and it needs to be corrected. Massive undertaking ahead. I hope White is the right man for the job to make it happen.

I really hate to say this but ECU students showed up and kept their support during their losing seasons.
Was wondering over last 4 HS recruiting classes, that would be over last two coaches, have we developed even 1 or 2 quality OL/DL starters?
What happened to Carl lol?
Isn’t every building on every publicly funded campus technically funded with state dollars?

clt says there is/was probably federal and private funding included as well.
the bigger issue is that NC taxpayer funds goes towards things in the triangle all the time and Charlotte (city and school) doesn’t see the same benefit.
