Some thoughts on tonight:
Brown looks good, but did try to force a couple of throws.
We have some WRs, and more help coming with Dyches and Brown. This is NOT last year’s pass offense. We can throw the ball.
Purdie looked pretty damn good. I am trying to temper that with the memory that Jalon Jones looked great last spring too, but he was throwing dots. What I liked was that a lot of his throws were away from the defender where the WR would have a clean shot at the ball and the defender wouldn’t. He can also zip the short and mid range throws. We might be okay at backup QB.
Was told that we were missing 3 DTs and Stone Handy didn’t play either. Saw Clowney beat our huge new OL (looks like King is the only returning starter) and get to the QB for what should have been called a sack.
Really pretty night for football. Wish more people had come. We might have had 2k in the stands.
