So many factors for us to hit a high level of success this season. One of the biggest will be how quickly our offensive line comes together. Having King returning as our center is big, thatās the most important line position on offense. Max seems confidentā¦ heās definitely Battle tested so the game speed should not be a concern for him. If the Oline can block then he has the weapons for our offense to be able to score.
As for the defense, Balfour in the backfield is enormously valuableā¦ weāll see what the linebackers look like but we definitely have some potentialā¦ and coach Lou will make our transfers betterā¦the D-line should be vastly improved.
Coachesā¦ everyone returning has had an offseason to reflectā¦ what worked and what didnātā¦ canāt understate how important this isā¦ and adding experienceā¦ Brewster and Bly is hugeā¦ Biff made changes where he felt it was necessaryā¦.
The last variable is our competitionā¦ will JMU be ready after a offseason of changeā¦? Donāt want to forecast past week oneā¦ starting out 1-0 is extremely difficult, but critically important.

Really hope OāMega Blake works out. He had issues at South Carolina and ECU . He didnāt even stay a full semester at ECU and was a lockeroom issue at both schools. Will he fit with Coach Biffās team culture? Iām not so sure.
How confirmed are these locker room issues? Or are they merely speculation?

Let me find the link on ECU message board. South Carolina fans told them when he transferred there and ECUās guy that manages their website got the info from players on the team. Said he was in the lockeroom bragging about his NIL money. Itās gonna take me a minute but i should be able to find it.
I read that same stuff. It is concerning. Hopefully, if he acts like that, biff is true to his word about being more of a disciplinarian. If you get an opportunity to link south carolina fans talking about him, that would be awesome
