Been nearly a month without a head coach!
This is going to sound rude, but I am kind of glad we didnβt announce a volleyball coach during the football search.
Can you imagine the reaction if we did?
Maybe this is a sign that we are putting football ahead of volleyball, which is something we all wanted⦠I think complaining about this is silly.

I was told that, indeed, vollyball was on the back burner, but candidates are being interviewed. Now that Albin is hired, get on with it.
Yep, hiring process in full swing as only AD positions listed as open are a WSOC assistant and associate AD for major gifts + NIL.
Elon and UNCW also looking for new VB coaches.
And FWIW, Albinβs daughter played VB at least through junior college.

Looks like a solid hire. The Big Ten just captured the 2024 national championship with Penn Stateβs victory over Louisville. Nittany Lions beat conference mate Nebraska in the semis to reach the title game. Overall 8th VB championship for Penn State.
I certainly hope this hire works out better than our previous hire from Ann Arbor.
