OK, I have to admit this is one of the better College Cup trnm’s I think in a long time and not just because my beloved Niners are advancing. The Final Four possibilities are extremely intriguing. Someone how I think Creighton is going to lock horns with Chapel Hole, and their ex-coach is gonna school them.
I like how the Niners matchup with UConn. Although I think we will need to make that extra pass before dropping the hammer to get by UConn’s back line. Although the Niners lack creativity to make that extra pass, I do like our chances given the speed of play, discipline, and attacking style. The Niners have met every opponets strengh well so far. UConn will be a significant test, so much so that if the Niners get past UConn they could make some real noise in Hoover.
All reported attendance numbers appear incorrect. Looked like ~4000 to me.
I paid after they ran out of tickets. They were getting money, & you didn’t know you could have just walked in until AFTER you paid, so we figured all of ‘em.’
Good game. I was nervous the whole game that 1 wouldn’t be enough.
Part of the time I was near people that knew all of the soccer nuances. I thought, “loser.”
Yeah, I got there right at gametime. I waited in line and paid but I guess they didn’t have any tickets left to give folks. They told me just to walk on in after I paid. Only charged me $3 though.

After we beat UCONN, do we play the winner of the St Marys/UNC chapel-hill game or the winner of the Creighton/USF game? It looks like we do not play the winner of the UCLA/Louisville game.

I will give their fans credit. A quick glance at their board shows their fans saying we had the better team and deserved to win.
I admire that except the half naked Akron hobo with the flag (we do have children at the game and I don’t care for all Junior 49ers to witness such nasty thing from the opposing fan). Besides, I don’t appreciate the profanity slinging toward our fan, my nephew and my son at the end of the game. Low life are the only words came to me when I think of the zippers.
