Iām sure the taking Northen Iowa to OT cooled it down a bit.

The Ross Hodge era gets off on a winning note in Denton. Like AK in UABās opener, took a chance in scheduling a perennial MVC power for the game. Should be a NET positive for both the Mean Green and the AAC.
Am I the only one thinking this is an āinterestingā flex after one game played?
I assumed it was going to be a series and you can see the teams whittle down by week. Didnāt see it as a flex at all.
Mentions Martinās injury, which kept him out of both of FAUās closed scrimmages. Havenāt heard of heāll be available tonight vs the Ramblers.

Watching FAU in the Barstool Invitational⦠You can watch it for free if you download their app (available on Roku too).
They are playing it in Wintrust Arena (DePaulās home court). Never seen this place before. Pretty nice, and the type of arena that FAU should build and be playing in.
Seats 10,387
Anyway, FAU coasted past Loyola Chicago.
This Barstool production is a clown show. I cannot believe these schools agreed to be subjected to this. Especially a Jesuit school like Loyola Chicago when these guys are cussing up a storm.
Just a follow up on the clown show, hereās an example:

Embarrassing.

That is a snazzy arena.
Could be an ugly night for AAC with Memphis at Mizzou and UAB taking on Clemson in Asheville. Already written in an L for UTSA at Minnesota.
clt was hopeful that tiffany gomes would show up at the barstool game
Halfway through tonightās games and AAC squads are 0-3.
Memphis has gotten it under 10 at the half vs Mizzou after the latter had doubled the score earlier in the game.
Memphis has opened the second half on an 18-5 run to take the lead.
Plus UAB leads Clemson at the half in Asheville. Winner will get Davidson on Sunday after the Cats beat Maryland in the earlier game.
