clt says that is a great upgrade. surprised they have so much room for surface parking

Speaking of parking.

When we double our stadium capacity.

Where the heck is everyone going to park?

clt says we have enough parking if folks are willing to walk 10 mins

Can folks park in the light rail deck across the street? How much does it cost?

clt says yes, and apparently it is free

I’m betting CATS would have a problem with fans using their deck to park and not use the train. Maybe if our school leaders negotiated with them beforehand for an understanding and agreement, then maybe it would work.

Many of our lots are currently well under capacity. So we don’t need as much parking as the expansion might feel like.

clt says it is public parking

Lots will pop up from private companies if the demand is there. Also, the light rail makes it easy to get around parking at the stadium if you want to avoid it.

This is something we should look into, Imho

Looks a decent amount like UABs stadium, no?

Will need to wait till the snow melts to really make a judgment.

Bet that USF stadium would be like a frying pan on most day games.

That stadium looks about as generic as generic can be.

I would not build a stadium in South Florida unless it was designed for shade and cooling breezes. It should be a priority design consideration.

A bucket list item for me has always been to see a game at Michie Stadium. Looks like it will really be cool now, Renovated stadium with the Niners playing in the Hudson Valley. Unreal.

That seems kind of cool. We certainly have room with that giant unused concourse.

Not AAC anymore, but if you want to see facilities that put us to shame at a school we were well ahead of 20 years ago…check out the UCF athletic facilities page… good grief.
