Good reminder of what on-campus facilities look like in the G5. I really only think we should be comparing ourselves to those on campus stadiums.
I’m trying to think of an off campus facility in the G5 that sees a high usage / capacity rate. Memphis maybe?

Rice needs a stadium the size of JRS.
They have enough money in their alumni base that there is no reason they couldn’t tear down and replace the two remaining sides of the stadium and replace it with much more premium / covered seating at about half the capacity.

I was in Memphis two weeks ago for a wedding. I made a wrong turn and ended up driving through one of the roughest areas I’ve seen in a longtime. Way scarier than roughest areas of Charlotte. Just a few miles away from the Liberty Bowl where Memphis plays football.
