We are so far behind in coaching salaries it’s borderline comical.
Good thing biff os rich because he’s the lowest paid coach in the league and is effectively less than half the next closest since he’s donating salary to boost the low assistant salary pool. He did the lords work assembling the kind of staff he did with the money he has to work with.
Harsh but true statement. Only counterpoint I can offer is that when we get off the hook from Healy and can get a larger AAC cut that should help. Also, unlike certain other programs in our league, we don’t deficit spend to fund the program.
Is your read that being able to pay a lower salary was consideration in the hire?
Love everything about Bif. Great hire. He is a true “coach” and exactly what is needed in NCAA athletics.
If we promote the Bif story, the city of Charlotte and region should gravitate to our program. This is our moment thanks to Bif and our admin. It’s time to capitalize!
I am locked in.
Clearly a lateral move at best. Despite all evidence to the contrary, Sun Belt is best G5. Just ask their fans.
I’d have to agree this past season they were but I believe that will be a short lived claim
