10 yard loss on his sack of mayfield. Killed the Browns last drive before the half.
I want Cleveland to get into the playoffs over Indy, but I love seeing Highsmith ball out.

In all my games watching Larry, mostly vs the Steelers, Larry has been solid, but rarely does Larry get his name called out. Larry always plays well, but doesn’t have pro bowl type games. Alex hasn’t had a pro bowl type game, but I could see him having a pro bowl type of year by year 3 or year 4.
Not sure if Alex got credit for 2 sacks with him flushing Maker Bayfield to the ground. Am hoping he did. He played a good game. His “all pro” safety played terrible. The Steelers offensive coordinator is a joke and he lost the game in my opinion. Putting in the back up back up QB every time the back up QB made a big downfield throw is idiotic .
I love that Alexi s killing it, but Nate has been the best of our guys in the pros this season
Not that it matters too much, but Alex has a higher PFF rating than Nate. Alex was playing behind pro-bowl caliber LB’s until recently. I don’t watch the Titans often, so I can’t say that you are wrong, especially with how well their offense has played.
Nate, should have been a Pro Bowl selection this year. Not sure why he wasn’t. Arguably, the most heralded lineman on the team that blocks for the league’s leading rusher.
DeCastro did not earn his Pro Bowl this year
Awesome. I know Brad Lambert must be proud. I am.
I wouldn’t trade Highsmith for Nate Davis. 4th round rookie Kevin Dotson is probably having a better rookie season this year than Davis had last year. Much easier to draft a quality guard than a quality pass rushing edge/lb. Alex is getting better every game and is a 3rd round rookie. As a 3rd round guard in his second season, Nate is supposed to be playing great. Hats off to both. Time will tell who reaches the highest ceiling. Both and Larry, all 3, have brought great and much appreciated attention to our University for the quality of their play, work ethic and character
Nice minute or two about Alex by TJ MVP Watt
Lets see about this Sunday night
“Highsmith led the Steelers in tackles and recorded a sack. Beyond that he created pressure that led to 2 more sacks, created tackles for loss, and forced Baker Mayfield to make hurried throws numerous times in big moments. That kind of play is something you see from truly great players.”
Been trying to find a follow-up report but so far nothing. Hopefully nothing serious.
He was standing on the sideline watching the losers, so it was probably a bad sprain. I think the pile rolled into his ankle. He had a great rookie year.
Hate to write it, but Steelers need to retire/cut Big Ben. They cannot afford to pay him $41,000,000 to miss the playoffs. They save $19 million in cap space by Ben moving on…
The defense could be formidable again next year, so investing in young offensive line and a true star running back makes more sense
