The fact that Mayall wasn’t one the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a travesty. Sorta hope whoever accepts the now posthumous award rips the RRHOF for their inexplicable tardiness in recognizing Mayall.

Very much underappreciated for his early pioneering of English Blues (think early Fleetwood Mac), recognizing talent, mentoring that talent and giving them the freedom to move on and grow in other bands. Belongs in the R&R HOF (but so do a lot of others).
