Our pitchers have hit 56 batters this year, so we have that going for us
I get that we played several guys late that we wouldn’t normally, but it was a pretty poor effort all the way around from the start.
Their hits were productive, but not many hits made those 7 runs. The OD threw their best pitcher at us, and I like our chances both games Sunday
I expect us to come back strong on Sunday as well. These guys won’t be happy about game 2.

Dang…first 2 batters on board in the second and the next 3 batters go down in order. Down 2-1 through 2 innings.
Uggg…Their starter averages less than 1 strikeout per inning this year, but has struck out 7 today, through just 3…still down 2-1. Update: Niners finally get to him. 4 hits,2 walks lead to 5 runs in the 4th . …niners up 6-2.

Good position to be in…No worse than a 2-2 split with a chance to take the series 3-1.
That’s a big swing if we can pull it off and take it 3-1.
That would give us another 2 game cushion on them in the loss column.
