I thought the first game was 9 innings and the 2nd game was 7 innings. That’s what they have been doing.
2 9s on Friday, 2 7s on Sunday
The normal C-USA weekend schedule to this point has been 2 7s on Saturdays.

Winning one for the Gipper is always a source of motivation.
Hoping to see Groover back in the line-up today. Would like to see our pitching staff reduce the free passes too. I foresee a lot of runs scored this weekend by both teams. It would be great to win three out of four at home.

OK, #19 vs #20, and #1 in C-USA vs #2. I guess a 4-4 outcome over the next two weekends is about what I should expect, but this is our big chance to step up when it counts. Let’s lock up the conference title!

We have hosted ranked teams plenty - but the games in basketball where we were ranked AND the opponent was ranked would be few and far between.

I agree. They are a really good team and have an explosive offense just like us. I expect some runs to be scored.
