Bad pole. You excluded Kansas City q, Memphis q, st Louis q, Texas qā¦
Kosciusko And Pulaski were 2 badass Poleās
The Carolinas share #5 in this pole, which is spot onā¦except New Orleans bbq I have never tried.
For a last meal being the best bbq from KC, I could die full and satisfied. If itās the best NC or SC bbq, I would enjoy it, but probably would feel slighted and cheap
Kansas City barbecue is also known for its inventive side dishes, such as cheesy corn, baked beans, and coleslaw.
clt says yes, beans and coleslaw are inventive
Central Texas Yāall coming in 3rd!
Bring on the brisket!
I did a pork butt and made carnitas for 4th of July.
(scratch and sniff pictures)
We do Brisket for Thanksgiving and Xmas (and Turkey of course)
YUM!!!
And Bobby Lutz
Grew up down east so vinegar based is my go to. Now, canāt go to it too much these days, but when Iām back home thereās nothing better than a BBQ sandwich with slaw.
Fixed it for you
Vinegar sauce is one thingā¦ but there simply is no slaw type debate. I like both but thereās one clear winner.
White slaw with a tangy vinegar flavor and some celery salt is where itās at.
Also Iām having Kyle fletchers for lunch, which is a quality Charlotte area establishment unlike the disgusting and overhyped bridges in Shelby.
Have someone go in and get it for you if you donāt want to lose your apatite.
Iāve lived here for 29 years and Iāve never heard of Lockhart being called the āBBQ Capital of Texasā - but thereās a first for everything. Do love me some brisket, but I love my pulled pork Carolina style.
