We don’t need another undersized forward.
why? why would you want a kid who could barely get off the bench for a mediocre clemson team? is it just because we recruited him out of high school? no room or need for this kid.
It is because Ruckus things the entire roster of a 21-11 team sucks.
Biggest thing going against Sullivan coming here is that we’d have 3 PF’s in the same graduating class.

How do you figure that? You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Clayton is gonna be an absolute monster in the post for 3 years to come. I just want another big that can score. Big Mike is gonna be solid on defense for us, and Clark is a good athlete but will probably never score much for us because he is so tremendously undersized. Our 2013 class is virtually nonexistent, so I’d like to bring in 1 more big that we can have even if it is after he sits out a year.

I don’t think any of them SUCK. Benk is below average on defense and they all have a deficiency here and there, but by no means do I think any of them suck. We are tremendously improved. Period.

but he’s not big and he can’t score.
He is definitely bigger than Clark and can provide some much needed depth with the absence of Braswell. Also, look at Mayfield talent wise. He never got off the bench at Georgia which isn’t exactly known for good basketball and he came here sat out a year and his game improved. He obviously didn’t improve off the court, but he definitely got better on the court with age and skill development that year players have to sit out often makes a big difference.
yeah but mayfield was playing for a coach that did not recruit him in a system that did not fit him. mayfield is not as much of a tweener as sullivan. scholarships are too valuable, especially in the 2014 class to use one on him.
Then what is your opinion of what we should do in 2013? If no Atewe, then go JUCO route or just call it a wash and hope Lester is a stud?
hopefully the staff has a backup plan in case we don’t get atewe but you cannot take a subpar player just to say you signed someone. this isn’t ecu.
I agree you don’t sign just anyone, but taking a transfer that can fit in after a year isn’t a bad idea. You may not think it is Sullivan, but there will be other transfers available as well.
i have no problem with taking a transfer, just not sullivan.
I would prefer kids that could come in and help next year.
