Iād totally forgotten he was Clay Heltonās brother.
But you have no clue how many of those positions were even compensated versus volunteer???
Just remember the University attempted to make $$$ off Biffās cutoff T-Shirts.
Would think only ones who are āvolunteerā are student assistants. Read an interesting piece not long ago focusing on college hoops about how team managers and the like are typically way over worked and mostly uncompensated - even for things like meals. Quite an eye opener.
Oh I know. I have one.
Itās such an odd time to be hiring a HC. So many schools still playing ball and unless this is a coach who is currently unemployed, you just have to wonder how this plays out. With Hill I have a feeling it may be anotherā¦
Actually not odd for all the reasons Hill stated at the presser. And not limited to unemployed candidates.
Still get the who vibes.
Gotta say, we have stepped it up with trying to remove the creases/wrinkles from the back drops. Credit given when credit due. We salute you.
Yes, youāre right. Honestly, speaking for myself, I have hardly paid attention to the assistant salary pool stuff since Biff came onboard. So even if the data is out there, I wasnāt following it.
I think I want skip holtz.
He has experience stabilizing programs, he has experience building programs. Heās run a diverse set of offensive schemes. His contacts on the defensive side of the ball are immense. Heās an excellent fund raiser, and one I think could do well with NIL. I just donāt see another realistic name that has the same name value that I think would offer legitimacy to our program.
Itās not an unfair report card Iām afraid to stay.
I canāt throw any shade at it
For those without an Athletic sub, hereās Vanniniās candidates list:
Pep Hamilton, ex-NFL OC
Joe Cox, Ole Miss OC
Kerwin Bell, WCU HC
Bill Clark, ex-UAB HC
Alex Atkins, ex-Charlotte/ex-FSU OC
Tony Gibson, NC State DC
Tre Lamb, East Tennessee HC
Chris Weinke, GT OC
Clayton White, South Carolina DC
That would be great as long as heās still got the fire.
Donāt want Pep. I would take Clark, Lamb or Bell off that list
Since Minter was brought up. Decided to check on him:
Campbell HC 2013 - 2023 (49-66)
Currently a D Analyst with Western Michigan.
I could get on board with Skip, for some reason I thought he was older than 60.
