Same here (90s), but they were still showing the original on TV at the time. Hadn’t heard BM’s version. Good stuff but can’t beat the classics in my book.

None of the three mentioned in the Observer are sitting HCs, so no buyout $$$ required.
I gotta think with Petrino being mentioned this late in the game and still considered, assuming “insider” info is true, the admin is already well passed concerns over scandal or whatever. If that was a deal breaker, it is old news and would have nixed him immediately.

Would think most billionaires like it that way. Who knew about Tepper before he brought music to the QC?
And then there are the exceptions like Bezos, Branson and Musk who crave the spotlight.
I think it’s someone not on that list. I just don’t see how we get that list. It’s gotta be smokescreen by the AD.

Petrino being involved signifies a willingness to do what it takes to win. I’m not a fan of him as a human being and I think the way he conducts himself is shit, but definitely even including him shows the admin is handling this differently than in the past.
