In HS sports coaches are often time defacto parents so I get it, but college now is just not that. With NIL involved itās just not near as important.

We tried numerous times to hire that coach that wants to life coach and love the players to death. That didnāt work. Like others have said, that era is over. Of course, parents want to make sure that their kids are taken care of, however they primarily want to know if their kid is going to play high quality football with a high quality football program and have the ability to be noticed by NFL scouts.
