I like Brew a lot better than I did Biff. However, there is just no way we can make that hire. To me it feels unfathomable. I appreciate Brew, but all this talk is hopefully out of respect for him and not at all serious.

I really, REALLY, hope it isnāt Brewster. Keep him on staff for sure, but he should not be the HC.
I just want it done and announced so he can hit the trail and land some recruits.

That makes sense, but Brew was saying this may be his last career stop anyway. So if the choice is staying on staff or retiringā¦ itās a different evaluation.
If Petrino was a consideration and the money wasnāt there, fine. I get it. Maybe thereās other schools heād be interested in and weāre just bait. Houston 2.0.
The other names generate zero interest from me. Brewster sounds like a nice guy, but I have no interest in him as a HC. The program needs a fresh start imo. If this ākeeping the locker room togetherā mindset is controlling the leadership, we need new leadership.

Iām wondering if the names given were to just appease all of us and give us something to talk about and distract from the ārealā candidate they want. Maybe some reverse pressure on the candidate to take the deal.
