Braxton Ogbueze - 2012 PG/SG

goooooooooooooooooooooooodbye

up 8 spots to #48 in Rivals poll, still a 4*

This guy is high on Tennessee’s radar. Maybe we can use their troubles to our advantage…

I think Kansas and Clemson are the 2 that concern me. Braxton’s father played soccer at Clemson, and Kansas, well, their Kansas.

Visiting Clemson this weekend for their basketball madness.

recent ESPN video interview linked below. We are not mentioned. Baylor, Wake, UVA & Clemson are. Would seem obvious that we are out of the Ogbueze sweepstakes.

#41 prospect in the class now at Scout for 2012

Braxton Ogbueze had 31 points, including the game winning free throws as United Faith (NC) defeated Oak Hill (VA) 90-88.

I saw him play today. The kid is an absolute stud!

I feel like if Baylor is in it, they are going to land him.

i also saw him play yesterday. this kid is exactly what we need. he would be a star from one. he is quick, can shoot and can create his own offense. he is also more of a pure point guard than i expected. he definitly outplayed duke signee quinn cook and was probably the best player of the event.

He’s got star potential, just not sure we have a shot to land him.

eh… let’s give Major a chance, if La Salle can land that Murray kid maybe we can land a top 50 kid also?

United Faith is 12-2 since Ogbueze returned from a broken bone in his hand. He has scholarship offers from Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, Clemson, Virginia and Charlotte, Wiseman said.

We have no shot at him. I know their coach. Baylor and Kansas lead. Also I think Texas has offered, even though they’re not on that list.

Sorry I should clarify. I know their JV coach, who also assists with the varsity. He is also a Charlotte grad.

Would be great for our program to develop a strong relationship with UFCA.
