Maybe. Or maybe he’s making sure he doesn’t wait for an offer from one of the P5 programs only to have to settle with whatever program happened to wait on him.
I’d love to see him stick, but just because he’s committed to us does not mean that the bigger schools are going to stop recruiting him.
How long before ESPN downgrades his star rating now that he has committed to us? :

Wow !, saw this in AJC (The best college football local newspaper in the nation,fyi), and Charlotte Football, next to his name.
Super 11 in Georgia potential… Have to say, have no idea how good he is…but the fact that we could land someone at this level would say, all sports for us he is recruit of the decade so far.
