Ingrosso apparently still has to take either the SAT or the ACT to qualify.
you’re right. i like that we added cherry. he sounds like a great shooter. if we can add either ingrosso or a chris nance type player, i will be really excited with our team next season.

Can’t remember the exact numbers, but I read that Blakely averaged something like 17 ppg, 12 rpg, and 4 bpg this year.

And his personal stats, include game-by-game numbers: http://www.maxpreps.com/athletes/K76w92dpzEmgSdwfBqpysw/basketball-winter-12-13/stats-cameron-blakley.htm

Apparently he also had an offer from Oklahoma at one time. They were his first offer. UCF and UAB also had shown interest at one point, but unsure whether they actually offered.

Rivals hasn’t even rated him as far as I can tell, but he’s a high 3 star on espn. Good size and agility, but he doesn’t seem to have had as many offers as you’d expect. Might need to temper the excitement until it’s clear he’s qualified.

Sounds like a solid replacement for Clark. Should at least be able to replace his production.

Whew, glad we didn’t fire Major after E-vick decided to transfer(or did he). Seriously though, this guy looks like he brings the same skillset as Braswell on Offense, but from what I’ve seen looks to be a much better shot blocker. Love a big guy that can finish with both hands, something Bras couldn’t really do. His 3 point shot looks almost exactly like Braswells also. Great find this late in the game. Still would like to add another big guy and someone who can shoot. Lester better be Joby Thomas like or we are gonna struggle again once we get behind in games.

Love the verbal, but when can he sign a NLI?
Love the verbal, but when can he sign a NLI?
May 15 is the last day he can sign. Late signing period opened on April 17th.

Welcome to the family, Mr. Blakley.

I loled a little bit, as was said 9000 times before this, there was no chance Major was getting fired. Zero chance

Do we know for sure that Blakley has qualified academically?

That doesn’t mean he is at risk not to qualify, we simply don’t know. There isn’t much news out there on the guy.

Thats right, its just that our history in these kind of deals is not very comforting.

I really like what I saw in the video, looks like he needs to slow down a little but a very aggressive player with a huge upside. Looks to have the “IT” factor.

This kid has some serious upside, glad to see him in green and white.

From what I’ve been told from someone not affiliated with Charlotte, he’s a qualifier.

2k, do we have a GIF of him hitting a 3 pointer, that’s really a 2 pointer b/c he’s a step inside the line?

Sorry, what does that mean? He’s academically eligible? Or that he has to wait and submit his grades after the year finishes?

Is that why its only a verbal? Why verbal when u are in a signing period?
