Since we are getting football, I remembered an idea I had several years ago… I think we should have a “fighting norm” logo

I like our logos, but I kinda want something mean. I think it would be awesome if we had a fighting norm, and it was sort of the “unofficial logo” and it really caught on. Similar to how ECU has the unofficial skull and cross bones logo.

Actually, if you remove the gun and the pipe, I don’t think it’s that terrible. Personally, I don’t have a problem with the gun and pipe. But in today PC world, I don’t think it will fly with the AD.

If I had removed the gun and pipe, then I would have put the PickAxe in the right hand. If anyone wants to try to colorize it feel free.
J, he’s holding the shotgun near the hand rest. Otherwise the barrels would have been out too far. He’s wearing leather (brown) gloves. That would be clearer if it was colored.
I like the old school norm logo. Maybe upgrade that a little for an alternate logo.

I like this old school Norm logo too. Used to use it as an avatar for different websites. Even with the ax and the 49er logo, people would call it a Leprechaun or a ND logo.

Just messin. I love this idea. We have enough creative people on this board that I’m sure we can come up with something badass.

Haha! I didn’t even notice that. His right foot is on the left side of his left foot. Kind of looks like a ballet stance.
This is all I can do haha. I’d love to have this modded with a pick-axe some brown pants and a miner hat, but alas, I cannot draw - Photoshopping skillz only.
I like the hand drawn one, if we could get something a little more polished and lose the gun (maybe the pipe - who knows or cares about that mess)
