OOOOHHHHH SNAP!!
I love this research you’ve done. Thanks for getting this out here where we’ve all known about this, but didn’t take the time to do it.

Great post.

Picking battles? This has been an ongoing war with the Observer.

Is it crying wolf? I don’t think so, because then the entire Name Confusion thread would be crying wolf and every other thread that tries to reinforce a negative.

Make light of small situations and then once a big problem arises people will ask, “Well where were you the whole time?”…

Exactly…you don’t “pick your battles” on something like this, if you do then the effect is lost. The whole point of this ongoing battle is that it (our sorry a$$ coverage) is never-ending! Its the “regularity” of this treatment that is the problem, therefore every instance must be pointed to gain the full effect! If it only happened every now and then it wouldn’t be as big a deal, but unfortunately it happens 99% of the time, thus we complain, 99% of the time!

I never said anything to support the Observer in this thread, so don't call me out for something I did not do.
sure you did
sure you did

Go back and read the thread. My first post was suggesting you retire from the board again, as you suggested you would do months ago. It had nothing to do with the paper - it had to do with the dumb comments you were spewing.

I guess you were to busy searching for ‘black helicopters’ and other proof of a giant conspiracy to comprehend what I said.

What’d they do to get on this list? Make a neutral POI?

Go back into hiding, this board would be much better off without your McCarthyism.

you havent even read the thread douche

Here are the Observer-sellouts scums’ quotes!:

Those are AP pictures. It's not the O's fault. I'm just saying...
Well, if I can defend the AP photog a little, he did just send in all the photos he had from the game. You want your photos to tell the story of a game (obviously) so that a person could tell the outcome of the game without looking at the story. That's why there are so many of the Clemson over Charlotte photos where both teams are included. The staff at the O didn't pick and choose photos for that slideshow. Clemson won that game, and the photos should give you that impression.
maybe it's time for metro to retire again. I'll buy the cake.
you havent even read the thread douche
I posted in the thread, douche.
Not only that, but the photos showing both are as follows…

 1. Perkins running into a force-out at first.
 2. Parks sliding into a force-out at second.
 3. Kyle Parker (Clemson) sliding safe into second.
 4. Corey Shaylor tagging out Jeff Schaus in a rundown.
 5. Richard Moore (Clemson) hitting an RBI double. Catcher was only in the frame because of the angle.

So of those 5 pictures, four of them were depicting a positive situation for Clemson, and only one depicted a positive situation for us.

Whatever happened to journalism being unbiased?
Way to show off your muscle, metro. Throw posters that didn’t bow down and pledge total allegiance to the one and only metro under the bus. I notice you didn’t have the balls to throw HP under the bus for this statement:
I’m gonna give them a pass on this one, the photographer works for the Anderson Independent-Mail. I’m surprised he even took any photos with just Charlotte players.

However, the O didn’t need to post all the photos of with just Tigers in them either. I don’t think Clemson baseball is a big draw in Mecklenburg.
That’s your way, isn’t it? Twist everything said so that it’s contradictory to your firm beliefs? If you’re going to throw the ‘less respected posters’ under the bus, might as well throw him in there too.

I’m not gonna say that Metro’s not over the top sometimes. So what? He’s a former athlete who champions the school. He’s not the kind of person you want run off.

I will never understand our fanbase’s penchant for fighting each other. If we were larger, sure. We need every solider we can get.

you think I would let a part time student run me off NNN? :lmao:

thx for the kind words thought PB

I know you wouldn’t.

Just seems like a silly way to show irritation. YOU SHOULDN’T BE HERE ANYMORE! Yeah, that’s gonna make us grow leaps and bounds.

He left at will, then came back and started a list of people that he doesn’t see fit. I’d rather he stay away… he starts more **** than is worth it.

I’m not sure how me saying something specifically directed at metro makes me an ‘observer-sellout scum’ as you so elegantly stated.

you havent even read the thread douche

Do you always resort to name calling? It’s one thing to argue a point based on facts and your opion, but name calling makes you come off like the part-time student.

Start the countdown for metro to call me a name in…3…2…1…

I was being sarcastic. Notice my name is in there too.
