Go see our club hockey team play UNCG.

Last game I went too, a UNCG goon came out of the penalty box to join a fight. Then one of the girls on the team whooped his ass and got ejected for fighting.

One of the sweetest hockey fights ever.

It was then. I don’t know of Hilary or Devon are still playing. I used to have a few friends on the team… but I’ve either lost touch with them or they quit playing.

I know a few years ago we had one of the best club hockey teams in the southeast.

I’ll come out. I love college hockey. When I went to Mercyhurst College several years back, they had a kickass team. Made it to the Frozen Four one year.

I still remember a game against St. Bonaventure that ended with a bench-clearing brawl and a Bonnie punching the glass and shattering a panel. The refs called the game with 4:57 left in the 3rd period, and made the Bonnies forfeit since they broke the glass.

Pretty sweet.

I don’t think the Johnson & Wales is the one from here, but even if it’s the one from FL or RI, I think the JWU Admin. downtown might try to get their students to show up, so we need loud Niners to counteract all the JWU’er’s downtown.

Yes, the hockey team will sell jerseys at the next home game at Extreme Ice Center on Friday, January 30. We’ll also put them up for sale on the team site at www.ninerhockey.com

I tried to get off early to go, since I don’t get off until 8. I’m thinking of going anyway to help the cause, even if I miss 1/2 the Checkers game, but I’ll still get to see the Niners.

I just paid my $15 to help the Niners w/ $6.
It stinks that the Checkers website only says '80’s night. If a 49er alum went directly to the Checkers website, instead of through Rob’s link, you wouldn’t even know the Niners were playing the 2nd game of a double-header.
I’ll find out when I get there where I sit 1/2 way through the 1st game.
