They weren’t as bad as last time. Although the JWU Baker’s Dozens did have a large turnout. The cheerleaders (aka taste testers) did a few cheers and stepped. That was a little odd to see at a hockey game.
Not to hate on hockey, but why doesnt metro get on this thread blasting it for being in the 49ers Sports forum when we dont have an ncaa hockey team?
NWA is doing the same thing for the hockey team that i was doing for the lax team.
Hey guys; long time no post. I saw a couple of posts at the beginning of the season for the hockey team but nothing recently. I didn't realize we had a club team until a month ago when I happened to see them play Elon. I was blown away. I'm not a diehard, but I like hockey and this was high quality stuff.
Anyway, it looks like the last game of the regular season is tomorrow (Saturday the 12th) at 4pm at Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail against your favorite rival, and mine, UNC-Ch. $5 admission and a pretty nice bar.

It was fun, but it was actually a 6 - 2 ass whipping. Got a little chippy at the end, and as we were leaving, there was an ambulance at the door and a stretcher coming in. Not sure why, but it might have been for the Carolina goalie who got leveled by his teammate crashing our guy into him. Mayhem ensued with three penalties issued.
clt says if the score was 6-2 unc-ch, the observer would print it.

It was kind of hard to figure the playoff schedule from the conference web site. As far as I could tell, the early playoff rounds were in Columbia.
