Charlotte 49er Ice Hockey

Glad to see the hockey team have ssuccess! My older brother played for the team for a couple years when we wwere both in school at Charlotte around 2008-2010: Battista, #77

He worked at extreme ice for a while too. I went to a few games there, was a fun place to watch and cheer on our niners!

The Rec. Services Dept. should start their own 49er Club to raise $49 or more from alums to give to, just like the AD Office.
Come to think of it, I’m surprised the Academic Office doesn’t have a 49er Club. I guess they don’t like money.

There are plenty of seats. And, if you are willing to show up a half an hour before face off, center ice seats are available. Do bring jackets for the kids. There are quite a few Niners as well as visiting team’s fans for you to hang out with. This may help ease the pain for not doing so well with other sports this year.

You do know this is a CLUB hockey team, don’t you? I don’t think anyone expects a write-up in the O about it, unless it is a “feature story” about hockey at the southern schools.

Now, on the other hand, those lack of pre-game articles against the top 10 Cincy and Louisvile programs back when we were good is a different story.

You do know this is a CLUB hockey team, don’t you? I don’t think anyone expects a write-up in the O about it, unless it is a “feature story” about hockey at the southern schools.
