I normally agree with ya on this, but with this being halloween night - anyone with kids is gonna be hard pressed to get outta the house during costume and trick or treat festivities.

Im going to assume ESPN3 is where I will be able to watch. Setting up firepit and tv in driveway to be able to do both trick or treat fun and watching game. Anyone is welcome to join in

I’m operating under the assumption it will be blacked out on 3… I think Va Tech v. Wake was in the same boat last week and it was blacked out on 3
Beating Duke (even a bad Duke team) would be a big step for the program.

Also, NCSU vs Duke was blacked out on ESPN3 week before last.
If you’re expecting it to be watchable on ESPN3, you either need to not be located in the south east united states, or use a VPN on the device you plan on watching with, to make your device appear to be located elsewhere.
Edited to add: I’ve done this with a Firestick before and PIA vpn, but its not simple, straight-ahead setup.

Why are games being black out? There’s no way they can sell out so why put fans in limbo.
Blacked out on espn because fox sports regional has the broadcast rights in the local market. Outside the market you can watch on espn3.

Correct. I do remember when ESPN3 first started you could stream fox sports games still even if you lived in the area. That’s all changed the last few years.
Tested VPN - think it will work just fine.
Direct TV channel 646-1…Fox Sports Carolinas. Looking at the early lines out of Vegas. Dook is a 9-10 point favorite. Hard for me to believe guys. This is a very bad Dook team.

This is why I think this is such an important game, until we do it no one’s going to think we can or will beat even a bad ACC team. This is a great opportunity to take a step forward for the program.

Exactly…I would take a Duke win over a Cusa win any day (I dont care what the G5 team is ranked this year). I think we want to beat a P5 team just as bad as Duke not wanting to be our first P5 win. Talent gap aside, I think the team who wants it more on Saturday will get the W. There is no reason why we cant be in the top half of that list some day.
