Occasionally. Probably will go to first game and sporadically from then on. Thus, the very casual fan.
FAQ says there will be interest-free payment plan available, if that helps.
Really makes me miss home.
I’d have supporters section tickets if I were still down there.
clt will support only if name doesn’t include carolina
Yeah, I saw that, thanks! All the interviews and articles point to our pricing being similar to Atlanta United (“Screw that city” - Tepper).
So, cheapest season ticket prices start at 500. mid level around 700-800 and club start 1,000s.
Tepper mentioned that sales so far are double what Atlanta had when they announced
I’m in the process of figuring out what we wanna do tickets wise, but NA FAM will attend at least a few games per season. Season tix maybe.
so basically the average mls ticket for resale is about 43 dollars with Atlanta setting the highest number. with 17 home games a season and a 40 dollar resale price. That puts you at 680, 680-500 gives you 180 in profit. I am nit sure if the demand will be there the first years, but I expect it to come with us being so close to Atlanta and how their attendance is.
You guys forget that there is a significant Hispanic population in Charlotte and the surrounding cities. With the right advertising it would be easy to fill additional seats by targeting that demographic.
Yeah but do they like any soccer or just soccer from home?
Think outside of the box Niner_National. Fan bases are developed through proper marketing and advertising. If the soccer is exciting and the local community can relate to the players or coaches of course they’re going to support their local pro team. You have to establish the culture.
Case in point, the Dorados of Sinaloa, a second division team in LigaMX. When Maradona became the head coach, their attendance went way up and they even had fans in Argentina.
The first years should be very high demand. It’s a new product. And as long as they keep tickets reasonable and concessions cheaper than nfl, it will be sustainable. Tep wants it to be a party and festive. An electric atmosphere. Lower bowl and club seating, plus suites is roughly around 38 thousand. I’m sure banners will cover upper level. Charlotte will get behind this team and this will be a very successful team. Just gotta get the name right, Tep!
Also, having a Mls team in our backyard can only help with our niners soccer recruiting.
I only bought because they were in the lower bowl, if it was upper I would have said no
You’re right but they are still easily a top 20 team. Imagine having Atl or Lafc (or Charlotte?) in the club World Cup. That would help raise our profile.
Some info on season ticket prices that I’m assuming they got from a credible source.
clt can confirm mint green will be involved
Do we like this hire?
Can we pronounce this hire?
Do Hispanics like MLS? DC United fans indicate that they do… La Barra Brava was founded by Hispanic fans and became the biggest and loudest of the DCU supporters groups.
Go to a United match and you’ll hear a lot more Spanish singing than English.
