Charlotte Hornets 🐝

Lots of nhl and nba teams.

Other sports too, but those are the big media deals they have.

I haven’t watched an nba game from beginning to end in at least a decade.

It’s my understanding that Miles Bridges has not been cut yet. I hope I’m wrong.

Dudes got to go.

Suspended the first ten games of the season. Of course, that doesn’t factor in the latest in which he was arrested for violating the domestic violence protective order issued on behalf of his ex-girlfriend.

He isn’t going anywhere.

The Hornets not taking action on this guy is very poor PR.

I HOPE there’s a reason for it we don’t know about.

The latest accusations about him are really disturbing.

Complete loose cannon. Dangerous.

It would be so nice for our basketball or football teams to go on a tear, since our pro sports teams all suck right now. So much opportunity to capture the eyes and hearts of disgruntled NFL and NBA fans in Charlotte. A home eam that actually wins would be so refreshing.

Anyone on the board been to a Swarm game?

I went to watch them play the Toronto G League team about a month ago and I have to say it was fun.

The field house is tiny so not a bad seat in the house and shockingly almost sold out. Tiny but nice.

As far as the play on the court. Intense. You can tell these players are playing for their basketball futures.

Worth a drive up to Greensboro if are a sicko hoops fan.

The arena has endured less wear and tear than anticipated. It hasn’t hosted a playoff game since the Obama administration.

What is crazy is it still feels like the new arena, but its older than the Tyvola coliseum was when this one was built.

clt says congrats to the facility folks there, the spectrum center does look great

This team is so terrible. They are Panthers level bad.

Pretty shocked they are renovating at that level because the arena is in great shape.

Impressed with the forward thinking and investment.

I have not had time to read the article yet but I wonder how much of this is related to the Sportsbook they are planning to attach to spectrum center?

It doesn’t mention the Sportsbook. Just investment in other areas. Seems like good investment by the city to keep the arena up to date and a good venue for more than just basketball.
