Only if they’re dumb.

Lemelo does not have it.

Trade him and try to get and addition draft pick in next years draft which is supposed to be loaded.

Lol. You didn’t originally say anything about draft picks. That changes things. However, I don’t see Chicago or Cleveland also throwing in a first round draft pick.

How about this.

The Lakers are desperate.

Lemelo for DeAngelo Russell and a future Lakers 1st round pick. If they have one available.

As far out as possible because in a couple years they are gonna suuuuuucccckkkkkk.

Ok, that’s a tougher decision. However, as Hornets fans we have to agree, with that trade we’re going to also suck for the next 3-4 years. At least more than we’ll suck by keeping Ball.

The key to all of this is trying to predict Balls’ injury patterns going forward. I don’t know the answer to that. It feels like flipping a coin.

His injury patterns are more than a 50/50 split.

Lamelo for Trae Young. Or is he too much of a locker room cancer.

Got a feeling the new management will give it one more season, and if things stay the same on the injury front it may be time to try to move him. Will be very hard to do with his salary and history of not playing.

which Ball brother are we talking about?

That’s not a track. He’s just driving on the roof.

I can’t decide if we need to trade this guy inmediately because he’s a goofball loose cannon or keep him cause he’s only 22 and could mature into a fantastic player.

I have some level of respect for him getting the go kart up there and utilizing that space to have fun. It’s goofy to me but I’m not 22.

The face of your franchise walking around Charlotte with porn stars and driving go karts on top of his multi million dollar condo while averaging 55 games a year played because of injuries. Clown show franchise.

The nba is a clown show in itself.

I see the injury situation similar to the Pelicans trading of Anthony Davis, which in my opinion the Lakers won the trade, even with Davis’ injuries.

No, it really isn’t. Compared to the way college sports is being ran now it’s IBM

My only difference in that scenario is Davis is a Big. IMO Davis is a lot harder to replace than what Ball does. I would hold onto / gamble with Davis a lot longer than Ball as far as skill set.

I agree, bigs are more valuable. The comparison is more about can the Hornets get more value by trading Ball due to his injuries, the same way the Pelicans traded Davis because of his injuries. I think if the Pelicans were guaranteed that Davis would play 70+ games a year they never trade him.

If only we had held on to Jalen Duren in addition to Mark Williams!!!

Gotcha. Agree.
Ball’s contract in our small market also has to have a lot of influence on the decision making process on him.
