As of today it looks like the hornets used the #2 pick the best that they could have.
Could be seeing each other to more during the regular season etc if speculation about George getting traded to the Knicks cones to fruition.
They need to quietly explore trades for Lamelo and move on.
Heâs not durable enough and is a loose cannon.
Get value for him while you can.

As frustrated as I am with Ballâs injuries, theyâre not going to trade a potential perennial all star for a non-all star.

I agree that they wonât easily trade him, but he has only made one all-star game it was as a medical replacement. We arenât talking he got in by the voting process.
I know PJ Washington definitely glad to have landed in Dallas, especially with it looking like the Mavs will wrap it up tonight and face the Celtics in the NBA Finals.
Hence why I said âpotentialâ. His career is on a really good arc. What he does from here is anyoneâs guess. Does it continue to climb? Or, are we already at the peak? Weâll see.
